  • How to Use the Adaptive Rack Mount

The Adaptive Rack Mount is a fast, tool-free way to mount VOLTRA I through your rack holes. It’s ideal when you want quick on and off setup and consistent positioning, without the extra hardware of a fixed mount or the moving parts of a sliding system.

    Best for

    • Home gyms that want quick mounting through rack holes

    • Coaches setting up repeatable stations

    • Clinicians who want consistent positioning without spending time clamping hardware

    Setup

Before you start: set the Adjustable Pin

This mount uses an Adjustable Pin as a locating point, and a Thread plus Locknut as the clamp. So, before installing:

    • Check your rack hole size. If it’s 5/8 in, swap to the correct pin size first.

    • Set the pin position. The Adjustable Pin can move up or down so it lines up with the rack hole you want to use.

    1) Mount it to the rack

    1. Insert the Adjustable Pin into your chosen rack hole.

    2. Insert the Thread through the rack hole above.

    3. Open the Locknut using the triggers. Press one trigger while pulling up the trigger on the other side to open the locknut.

    4. Secure the Thread with the Locknut, then twist the Locknut tightly to fully clamp the mount.

    2) Mount VOLTRA I

Attach VOLTRA I to the Dock and make sure it’s properly locked before pulling.

    3) Do a quick test pull

Start light and pull smoothly. If you see any movement at the mount, stop and tighten the locknut again.

    Removing the mount

Unload and remove VOLTRA I first, then:

    1. Loosen the Locknut.

    2. Press one trigger while pulling up the trigger on the other side to open the locknut and release the mount.

    Changing height between exercises

Unload first. Bring the resistance down and return the cable to start.

    1. Remove VOLTRA I from the Dock.

    2. Unlock and remove the mount.

    3. Move to the new rack holes and reinstall: pin in first, thread through second hole, open locknut with triggers, clamp, then twist tight.

    4. Remount VOLTRA I and do a light test pull.

    Safety checks

    Before you go heavy:

    • Dock sits flush against the upright (no gap, no angle)

    • Adjustable Pin fits properly in its rack hole

    • Locknut is fully tightened

    • You’ve done a light test pull and nothing shifts

    • You’re not unlocking or moving it while the cable is loaded

    Maintenance

Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Periodically check the triggers, thread, locknut, and adjustable pin for wear or looseness. If anything feels off, stop and fix it before training.

  • How to Use the Strap Mount

The Strap Mount is VOLTRA I’s most flexible mounting option when you don’t have a rack available, or when you want a quick anchor point in a different spot. It wraps around solid objects like posts, beams, frames, and trees, letting you set VOLTRA I at the height and angle your exercise needs.

    Best for

    • Home users training in tighter spaces

    • Anyone who travels or trains outdoors

    • Coaches or clinicians who need a reliable station across different locations.

    Setup

    1. Pick a truly solid anchor point.

Choose a surface that won’t shift or flex under load.

    2. Wrap the Strap Mount and align the panels.

Wrap it around the anchor point with the front and rear panels firmly in place. The magnetic panels help the mount snap into alignment, but they don’t secure the mount on their own.

    3. Thread the strap and remove slack.

Feed the strap through the buckle and pull it as tight as you can. Take your time here—if there is slack now, there will be movement later.

    4. Choose the best strap length for the anchor.

Your Strap Mount includes two strap lengths of 0.5 m and 1 m. Use the one that lets you get a tighter fit with less excess strap.

    5. Lock the mount in place.

Move the handle from right to left to fully engage the locking mechanism.

    6. Attach VOLTRA I and confirm it’s properly locked in.

Make sure it sits flush and locks cleanly. If you’re not sure, remove it and mount again.

    7. Do a quick test pull.

Before you go heavy, pull the cable gently and watch the mount. If it shifts more than expected, reset it.

    Height and angle adjustments

This is where the Strap Mount earns its keep. Unlike a fixed rack position, you can place it almost anywhere and change the line of pull in seconds.

    • High anchor: Great for pulldown patterns, triceps work, and rehab angles where you want the cable coming down.

    • Mid anchor: Ideal for rows, presses, chops, anti-rotation work, and most general cable training.

    • Low anchor: Useful for curls, deadlift-style pulls, and low-to-high patterns.

Some tilt can happen on rounded surfaces. The goal is to minimize it with tight strap tension, a fully locked handle, and an anchor point that doesn’t flex.

    Safety notes

VOLTRA I can generate serious resistance, so your anchor point needs to be just as solid as the rest of your gear.

    • Use a surface that can handle the load. Thick tree trunks, solid columns, heavy-duty steel frames, and rigid uprights are sensible. Thin posts, wobbly rails, towel bars, and anything that flexes are not.

    • Avoid doors and flimsy frames at heavy resistance. Yes, straps can wrap around them but they’re generally not a great idea.

    • Stay out of the line of pull. Position yourself so that if anything slips, you’re not falling from a height or in the way of the device.

    • Quick fit check. As a general guide, it fits round surfaces with a minimum 80 mm diameter and square surfaces around 70×70 mm and above. If your anchor is smaller than the recommended minimum, VOLTRA I may not attach securely. For smaller sized anchors, you can add an optional shim to the back of the mount to improve compatibility..

    Use cases

    • Travel: Hotel gyms and limited-equipment gyms where you still want a reliable station.

    • Outdoor training: Parks with sturdy posts, beams, or trees can work well if you choose solid anchors and keep the strap tight.

    • Clinics and coaching: Easy way to add a station or change cable angles without rearranging racks or waiting for equipment.

    Maintenance

    • Inspect after use: Look for fraying, cuts, or wear on the strap, plus any damage to the buckle or panels.

    • Clean as needed: Mild soap and water is usually enough after outdoor sessions.

    • Dry before storing: If it gets wet or sweaty, let it dry out before packing it away.

  • How to Use the Sliding Rack Mount

The Sliding Rack Mount lets you mount VOLTRA I on a rack upright and change anchor height fast, without rebuilding your setup. It’s the easiest option when you’re moving between low, mid, and high pulls in the same session.

    Best for

    • Home gyms with a power rack

    • Coaches setting up quick stations

    • Anyone who changes exercises and cable height a lot

    Before you buy

If you haven’t bought the Sliding Rack Mount yet, make sure you choose the right version for your rack upright size. There are multiple options, so measure your rack first to get the correct fit.

    Setup

    1) Mount it to the rack

    1. Loosen the Tightening Knob to the loosest setting.

    2. Hold down the Safety Switch, then press the Unlock Button with your thumb and index finger to unlock the mount.

    3. Place the mount on the rack upright so it sits flush.

    4. Clip it into place to lock (don’t press the Safety Switch or Unlock Button while doing this).

    5. Confirm the Unlock Button returns to the top position. If it doesn’t, reset and clip again.

    6. Tighten the Tightening Knob fully until there’s no wobble.

    2) Set your working height

    1. Pull out the Adjustable Pin.

    2. Slide the mount to the height you want.

    3. Insert the Adjustable Pin fully to lock the height.

    3) Mount VOLTRA I

    1. Attach VOLTRA I to the Dock and make sure it’s properly locked before pulling.

    2. Do a quick test pull with a light weight. If anything shifts, reset the mount and tighten again before you load it up.

    Changing height between exercises

    1. Unload first. Bring the resistance down and return the cable to start.

    2. Remove the Adjustable Pin, move to the new height, then reinsert the pin fully.

Fitting different racks (spacer and pin)

The Sliding Rack Mount ships set up for a specific upright size using a Spacer, and includes a 1″ Adjustable Pin option for certain rack standards.

    • If the mount doesn’t sit flush, feels like it’s biting at an angle, or won’t clamp securely, you likely need a different Spacer.

    • If the height pin doesn’t match your rack holes, you may need to swap the Adjustable Pin.

    Removing the mount

    1. Loosen the Tightening Knob fully.

    2. Hold the Safety Switch, then press the Unlock Button to release and remove the mount.

    Safety checks

    Before you go heavy:

    • Unlock Button is fully up (not half-returned).

    • Adjustable Pin is fully inserted through the hole.

    • Tightening Knob is fully tightened and the mount doesn’t rock.

    Maintenance

    • Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

    • Check screws and moving parts (Safety Switch, Unlock Button, Adjustable Pin) for wear or looseness and tighten if needed.

  • How to Mount VOLTRA I with AnyMount Accessories: Overview

Mounting is the first step to getting the most out of VOLTRA I. The AnyMount accessories offer multiple ways to mount to racks, bars, and sturdy “non-gym” objects, so you can train at the height and angle you need, with a setup that stays secure under load.

This guide is your starting point. Use it to choose the right accessory, then open the dedicated guide for step-by-step setup and use.

    The main AnyMount accessories

Wraps around sturdy objects like pillars, frames, beams, and even tree trunks for indoor, outdoor, or travel setups.

Clamps to a power rack and lets you move VOLTRA I up and down quickly for fast height changes.

Pins through rack holes and adapts to common rack hole sizes, giving you a tool-free rack setup.

A more permanent rack attachment that fastens with screws for a stable, always-ready mounting point.

Clamps to horizontal bars or round tubes when you need an overhead or crossbar mounting option.

A bar attachment designed for consistent setups on a compatible round bar, useful when you want a dedicated bar-based station.

A portable base that gives you a stable, low anchor point on the go, handy for movements like curls or deadlift-style pulls.

    Handles and attachments

Extras like a Premium Carabiner, Functional Rope, Basic Handle, Ankle Strap, Squat Harness, and the Rotator Add-on to expand exercise options.

All of these mounts are designed to hold the device securely under load, so you can focus on training instead of worrying about the setup.

    Choosing the right mount

If you have a power rack (home gyms, coaches, athlete support staff)

Start here. Rack-based mounting is usually the most stable and repeatable, but do check out the bar mounts too.

    • Sliding Rack Mount: Best if you change exercises and heights often. Great for moving quickly from rows to face pulls to pushdowns without a full reset.

    • Fixed Rack Mount: Best if you want “set it and forget it” simplicity, or if you are building a dedicated station in a home gym or facility.

    • Adaptive Rack Mount: A good middle option when you want quick, tool-free mounting through rack holes, especially across different rack styles.

If you travel, train in unusual locations, or need a portable station (home users, coaches, clinicians)

    • Strap Mount: The most versatile option for flexible training locations. Think hotel gyms, outdoor posts or trees, or clinics and shared training spaces.

    • Travel Platform: Best when you want a consistent, stable base while travelling, especially for lower starting points and floor-based setups.

If you want overhead, horizontal-bar, or mid-air mounting (pulldown angles, rehab positions, athletic patterns)

Bar Mounts (Adaptive or Fixed) are ideal when you want the cable line to come from above or from a fixed horizontal point.

For coaches and pro athlete support staff, this is a fast way to create stations for pulldown patterns, chops, lifts, and sport-specific lines of pull. For physiotherapists, it can help standardize positions so progressions are more consistent session to session.

    Installation tips

No matter which mount you use, take a moment before every session to check a few important things:

    1. Tighten and align. Make sure the mount is fully secured and not sitting at an angle that could shift once tension hits.

    2. Confirm VOLTRA I is locked onto the mount. The device locks onto mounts magnetically. You should feel and hear a “click,” and you may also see an on-screen confirmation that it is seated and locked. If you’re not sure, remove it and mount again.

    3. Think about the real weak link: the surface. The mounts may be tested for the full 200lbs resistance, but your anchor point still needs to handle that load safely. A strap can tighten around a door, but that doesn’t mean the door frame is a smart idea at heavy resistance. Start light, check for movement, then build gradually.

    4. When in doubt, choose the more stable option. For home gyms, that usually means rack mounts if you have them. For clinicians, prioritize the most repeatable station. For coaches, pick the option that keeps transitions fast without sacrificing stability.
